One of the reasons we decided to build our own slaughterhouse and cutting plant was to minimise food miles. In line with this we sell our venison and Dexter beef mainly in Cumbria, either to customers living, holidaying or just passing through our beautiful county or by mail order.

Farmers Markets and food events
Each week we travel to a different part of Cumbria, joining other farmers and local producers selling at monthly farmers' markets, providing a local service to customers throughout the county.

Local outlets
We make weekly deliveries to a number of outlets specialising in local and speciality food throughout Cumbria so a supplier is never too far away. We use our own refrigerated van to make our deliveries so we can be sure there are no breaks in the cold chain during transfer from our cold room to stockist's chilled counters, that way the meat stays in prime condition.

Buying from the farm
We are happy to prepare orders for collection and customers can collect direct from the farm, but please phone first as we don’t have a shop as such and it is a working farm.
